Ms Julia Plant

BA with Honours, Modern Foreign Languages (French and Spanish), Coventry University; PGCE, University of Central England.
I came to BSN from the UK as Head of Secondary in 2019 as the school opened its sixth form for the very first time. Having spent my early career as a teacher of French and Spanish, I remain passionate about language learning and cultural awareness. Relocating to Spain has been a long term goal and it is wonderful to be working and living in such a beautiful region. Before moving to Spain, I worked in a variety of schools and contexts where I held both curriculum and pastoral leadership roles. I firmly believe that good outcomes for students stem from excellent teaching and learning and outstanding pastoral care; an important balance we strive to achieve here at BSN. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, in particular, skiing and walking with my husband and discovering new places. We have two daughters back in the UK who, with their partners, are also looking forward to spending more time with us in Navarra. I am delighted to be leading the school at this important time in our development and look forward to getting to know our families better as we strive to achieve the very best for our students.
