Mrs Wendy Anne Brown
Computer Science & Humanities Teacher
BA (Hons) Information Technology in Education with Qualified Teacher Status (Sunderland University)
I have been a teacher for nearly 20 years. I have over 15 years’ experience of teaching in the British Educational System and I have experience of teaching pupils from the ages of 3 to 18. In January 2015 I moved to Spain and I have spent the last three and a half years teaching computer science and IT to pupils from years 6 to 11. This includes the development of their programming skills using software such as Scratch and Python. I am very passionate about developing the use of technology in education but I am also very keen on developing pupils’ social and emotional skills. Throughout my career I have been very lucky to have had the opportunity to support the development of personal, social, health and economic education in schools as well as careers education. I believe schools have a duty to arm children with the knowledge and skills that they need to become confident, healthy, responsible, caring individuals in addition to developing their academic potential. My interests outside of school include walking, cycling and photography. I also enjoy travelling and exploring new places so I am very excited to see what Pamplona has to offer.
