Mrs Laura Gancauskaite
BA Economics, Newcastle University; MSc International Business Management with Finance, Heriot-Watt University; Certificate in Education and Training, Warwick University; PGCE, Nottingham University
After graduating in Economics and working in a banking sector for several years I switched my career to teaching in 2014. I have gained a PGCE from Nottingham University and started teaching GCSE and Level 3 Mathematics in Coventry, England. Later I joined The English Montessori School in Madrid where I taught Business and Maths studies. I seek to equip pupils with necessary skills to reach their maximum academic and personal potential. I believe taking an active role in one’s own learning is very important for becoming independent, confident, informed and a critical learner. I am very excited to be here at the British School of Navarra in Pamplona, my husband’s hometown! In my free time I enjoy hiking, cycling and active sports and I love spending time with my family. I am a mum to a lovely daughter Adriana.
