I have a Postgraduate Certificate in Primary Education and a Masters in Human Resources (UK). My degree is a Bachelor of Science Degree in Textile Design (2:1 with Honors). I am CIPD qualified with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and Qualified by BPS to carry out Psychometric Occupational testing. I am qualified to teach English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and to Teach English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). I am also trained in School Mediation – Techniques and resources to resolve conflicts in the classroom.
I was born in Sheffield, England however I have been living in Spain since 2002. I have a background in Human Resources, Training and Teaching both English and Marketing (working in the UK, Spain and Asia Pacific). I have two children aged 10 and 8. I came back from Hong Kong in 2016 where I was based for the 3.5 Years working as a Business Development Director and a Senior Consultant for Marketing Professionals in Hong Kong. Before this I was responsible for Children's English residential camps in Pamplona for 3 years and have also worked for ESIC as a teacher in the “Club de Marketing”. I have previously done Level Accreditation exams for the Navarrese Institute of Public Administration (INAP), delivered specific practical courses in English: Presentations, Telephone Conversation, Technical and General Reading, Written Correspondence and Public Service. I also give specific workshops: Phonics, Pronunciation, Reading Club, Oral Comprehension, Written Comprehension, Practical English, Vocabulary, Grammar, Speaking and Preparation for Official Exams. I have taught varying age groups from Primary Key Stage 1, 2 and 3 to Secondary as well as adults. I love reading, sewing, hiking and cooking.
